Dillon Standard Kit – Precision and Power in One Package
The Dillon torch is a legendary precision tool that has set a completely new standard for what can be achieved with gas welding. Through its unique, patented mixing chamber, Dillon offers a level of control and a flame of the highest quality that conventional torches cannot match.
This kit is the optimal solution for those who demand the highest precision in welding and cutting, whether it's for car restoration, handicrafts, or advanced workshop tasks.
The Unique Dillon Technology
What makes Dillon unique is that it operates with extremely low and consistent gas pressure (only 0.5 bar). This creates a soft, concentrated flame with minimal turbulence. For you, this means precision akin to TIG welding, with a very narrow heat-affected zone. The material warps less, which is crucial when working with thin body panels or other heat-sensitive parts.
This is included in the Dillon Standard Kit:
- Dillon Torch Handle: Ergonomically designed for optimal balance and control.
- 4 Standard Welding Tips: Selected sizes to cover the most common welding needs.
- Top Cutting Attachment: For powerful cutting with classic ergonomics and good reach.
- Bottom Cutting Attachment: Optimized for maximum visibility and control for thin sheet metal work.
- Cutting Guide Carriage / Cutting Support: Keeps the tip at exactly the right distance from the sheet for smoother cuts and reduced wear.
- Cutting Tip: For immediate use of the cutting functions.
- Flashback Arrestors / Check Valves: For a safe working environment and protection against flashbacks.
- Tip Cleaners: A complete set to keep your welding tips in pristine condition for a long time.
- Hose Connections: Complete set for easy connection to your existing gas hoses.
- Swedish Instruction Manual: A clear guide to help you master the technique and get the most out of your equipment.
Advantages of the Dillon Standard Kit:
- Complete for Cutting: With both top and bottom cutting attachments and a cutting carriage, you have everything needed for perfect cuts in both thick and thin materials.
- Safety in Focus: With included check valves, you can work confidently and safely in all situations.
- Superior Gas Consumption: Thanks to its efficient combustion, Dillon consumes significantly less gas than traditional torches, making it economical to operate.
- Multi-Material: Weld steel, stainless steel, aluminum, and cast iron with the same equipment. You can also braze and heat with extreme accuracy.
- World-Class Durability: Manufactured from high-grade brass and copper for exceptional lifespan and operational reliability.

What do you need in addition to the kit?
Dillon connects to standard cylinders with acetylene and oxygen, which you can rent or buy from your local gas supplier (e.g., AGA/Linde or Air Liquide). In addition to the kit, you will need:
- Regulators for acetylene and oxygen (standard, available from your gas supplier).
- Hose package – specially adapted for Dillon's low working pressure, available in lengths of 3–7 m.
- Flashback arrestors for acetylene and oxygen – installed at the regulator and are your most important protection during gas welding. Strongly recommended.
- Wire & Flux Package – complete starter kit with filler materials for steel, stainless steel, aluminum, and cast iron.
Frequently Asked Questions
How does Dillon differ from MIG or TIG welding?
Dillon provides precision often compared to TIG, but without electricity – you can work anywhere. Unlike MIG, Dillon leaves a soft, workable joint ideal for bodywork, and you can weld, braze, heat, and cut with the same tool.
What materials can Dillon handle?
Steel, stainless steel, aluminum, and cast iron – with the correct filler wire and flux. It cuts steel up to 25 mm and welds up to 8–10 mm.
Can it handle thin body panels?
Yes, this is Dillon's forte. The low and even flame (0.5 bar) provides minimal heat spread, preventing thin sheet metal from warping.
What gas does it use?
Acetylene and oxygen. Thanks to its efficient combustion, gas consumption is significantly lower than with conventional torches.
Technical Specifications:
- Material: Solid brass and copper for maximum durability.
- Working Pressure: 0.5 bar (Acetylene) / 0.5 bar (Oxygen).
- Capacity: Welds up to 8–10 mm steel, cuts up to 25 mm steel.
