The universal gas torch
Welds 1 mm aluminium without burn-through, repairs cracked castings and cuts 25 mm steel. Same torch, same two cylinders. No electricity.
One tool, four jobs
Dillon doesn't do the same thing as your other welders. It does things they can't.
Weld
Steel, aluminium, stainless, cast iron, copper and brass – from 0.8 mm sheet to 8–10 mm stock.
Braze
The soft flame lets you braze steel with bare copper wire – with no flux at all.
Cut
Switch to a cutting tip and go through 25 mm steel with a narrow, clean cut.
Heat
Concentrated heat for straightening, shrinking and freeing – the heat goes where you point.
Pick a material – see the result

Weld 1 mm aluminium without burning through
The mixing chamber and 0.5 bar give a soft, extremely concentrated flame. Full control, minimal heat spread.
- Material thickness
- 1.0 mm
- Working pressure
- 0.5 bar
- Filler
- Aluminium wire + flux
Repair cracked castings – structurally
Cast iron cracks easily as the weld cools. The soft flame gives full control of the puddle and a homogeneous result that matches the original material.
- Method
- Fusion welding
- Section thickness
- 8–10 mm
- Filler
- Cast-iron rod + flux
Cut 25 mm steel with the same torch
No separate plasma cutter, no bulky cutting torch. Straight, clean cuts in sheet and beam with the cutting attachment included in the kit.
- Cutting capacity
- 25 mm steel
- Accessories
- Cutting attachment + cutting tip (included)
- Cut quality
- Straight, clean
Braze steel with copper cable – with no flux at all
The clean, concentrated flame lays a protective atmosphere over the puddle. The copper flows out and forms a tight joint – an experiment that shows how well the flame stops oxidation.
- Material
- 1 mm steel
- Filler
- Stripped copper cable
- Flux
- None
Two kits. One torch.
The same unique mixing chamber in both. Pro Kit adds a cutting carriage and more nozzles – and you can upgrade from Standard later.

1 mm aluminium. No holes.
At 0.5 bar the flame becomes soft and concentrated. The heat zone is so narrow that thin aluminium is welded without burn-through – and the joint can be worked. You can hammer, file and plane it.
- Material
- Aluminium 1.0 mm
- Pressure
- 0.5 bar O₂ / 0.5 bar C₂H₂
- Tip
- No. 1 - welding
- Filler
- AlSi 1.6 mm

When should you not buy a Dillon?
If you only lay long seams in heavy structural steel on a production line – MIG is faster.
Dillon is for the jobs where MIG and TIG fall short: thin sheet, cast iron, mixed materials, field work without power. With the cylinders you have a complete workshop.
