Welding Body Panels Without Warping
MIG leaves hard joints that must be ground — and the heat warps thin sheet. Dillon gives soft, workable joints and opens the door to classic lead loading.

Cutting and work near body panel steel.
Soft joints you can work
A Dillon joint can be hammered, filed and planished like the original panel. That matters under paint. MIG deposit needs grinding that thins the sheet.
Minimal heat spread
At 0.5 bar the flame is concentrated with a narrow heat zone. Heat goes where you point. Result: straight, low-stress seams even in 0.8 mm sheet.
Lead loading
Lead does not rust from inside, does not let go, and moves with the panel. The Pro kit’s Acetylene/Air tip gives the soft heat lead work needs.
