This special tip has been developed for tasks that require a lower and more controlled temperature than a standard oxy-acetylene flame. By using only acetylene and drawing in oxygen directly from the surrounding air, a soft, wide, and stable flame is created, which is ideal for delicate materials.

Tips for use:

When using this tip, the oxygen valve on your torch handle must be fully closed. You adjust the flame size solely with the acetylene knob. For best results in lead loading, hold the tip at a distance such that the outer, soft part of the flame heats the surface evenly.
