Cutting Tip – Transform your Dillon into a high-precision cutting torch

Our high-performance cutting tip turns your Dillon torch into an amazing tool for cutting steel. What really sets this nozzle apart is its incredible precision and extremely narrow kerf. It allows you to cut complex shapes and curves with an accuracy that minimizes material waste and post-processing.

Just like our other nozzles, the cutting tip has a long lifespan thanks to a robust construction of specially alloyed copper. The efficient heat dissipation prevents slag buildup and ensures that the nozzle maintains its sharp cutting ability for a long time.

    Features and Benefits:

    • Extreme precision: Creates a narrow and clean cut with minimal slag formation, reducing the need for post-processing.
    • High cutting capacity: Capable of cutting steel up to approx. 20 mm material thickness.
    • Durable quality: The material is chosen to withstand the intense heat of cutting, ensuring a long and reliable lifespan.
    • Enormous control: The concentrated flame makes it easy to follow markings and cut advanced shapes with high accuracy.

    Areas of Use:

    • Shape cutting: Perfect for cutting out your own brackets, templates, and machine parts from sheet metal.
    • Disassembly and repair: Fast cutting of pipes, beams, and rusty bolts.

    Specifications:

    • Type: Cutting tip.
    • Material: Premium copper alloy for long lifespan.
    • Capacity: Up to approx. 20 mm in steel.
    • Compatibility: Fits Dillon welding torches.

    Pressure setting for cutting:

For a clean cut, the pressure is adjusted according to the material thickness:

    • Acetylene: 0.5 bar (always constant).
    • Oxygen: Adjusted between 0.5 – 1.5 bar depending on material thickness.

    Tips for best results:

To preserve the long lifespan of the tip, it is important to keep the small heating holes and the central cutting channel free from spatter. A well-maintained tip provides a cleaner cutting surface and consumes less gas.
